SAC Honors students who meet minimum UC eligibility, complete 15 units of specialization courses by the end of the spring semester prior to transfer, have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.2 in these specialization courses, and have at least 3.2 UC transferable cumulative GPAs (all colleges attended) can become TAP certified. TAP-certified students receive priority consideration for transfer to majors at UCLA`s College of Letters and Sciences (not communication, education and social transformation, engineering, film, nursing, public affairs, or theater) and may choose a second major within the College of Letters and Science as long as it is not on the “limited” list of www.admission.ucla.edu/Prospect/Adm_tr/ADM_CCO/tap_alt_mjr.htm. Adoption rates are much higher for TAP certified students. TAP students from Mt. ISC are 2-3 times more likely to be accepted to UCLA than other Mt. SAC applicants! SAC Honors students who complete at least 15 units of Honors courses with a GPA of 3.7 or higher and have completed their major preparation are eligible for guaranteed admission to the UCI in most majors. Performing arts majors are excluded. These majors may require audition or faculty approval for admission. Please consult the Volunteer Office for more details. The two sides spent four years on a 15-year, $280 million contract, the highest in college athletics. LOS ANGELES — Under Armour has agreed to pay UCLA $67.49 million to settle a lawsuit filed two years ago. UCLA filed a lawsuit against Under Armour in August 2020 in the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles for breach of contract, seeking more than $200 million in damages. The settlement was reached in late May and approved by the University of California Board of Regents. UCLA finally agreed to a new apparel deal with Nike that began last July.
